No problem Colin. In TalkTalks defence, they may not have been able to get the number as BT are the range holder. If this had happened to us and TalkTalk, Sky or Virgin were the range holder it would have been difficult if not impossible for us to get the number back.
Your modem should be on it's way as well. Just to make sure you've got the correct expectations. The agent should have advised that delivery of routers and modems can take 3-5 working days. However, we do send these first class post and find they generally arrive within a couple of days. I hope you're not waiting too long for them.
