international calls

just had a guy on the phone telling me he was fro microsoft and that pc has a virus, he then tried to get me to do things with my pc... but i pld him along and kept him on the phone for 17 mins. Tricking him into thinking i had hearing problems.
anywayz just out of intrest i wont get billed for accepting his call will i ?

Nope - We would have heard by now if this actually happened.  There's been a few stories about this scam on these fora in the past.

this is the second time this guy rang me in 2 weeks, im 100% sure it was the same person last time, and he asked me the same questions

Yep, whilst you are winding the scammer up and wasting his time, he's not taking advantage of some poor gullible individual!

Kudos for wasting their time.  My time is too precious to me to do this though.  I just hang up, although I rarely answer international/unavailable calls.
