I am an existing Plusnet user for some time. I have another phone line (Vonage) which i want to discontinue now and would like to port that number onto Plusnet lanline. In last few days I have been trying to your reach customer assistance line over the phone but I am not able to connect despite holding line for circa 20-25 minutes. Could you please advise if this can be done online?
As Vonage is a VOIP provider it is extremely unlikely that your number will be available to import to the BT network. A number import works best when there is existing proximity to the local exchange, with a VOIP line that is not practical due to it being a service based almost anywhere.
I'd suggest that you visit our website plus.net and enter your Vonage number as if you were ordering a new service, you will get a good indication immediately if the number can be imported. Obviously, you don't have to complete the order.
