Withholding number

I'm ex-directory (I think). What are the options for withholding my number?

- Is it correct that if I dial 141 before dialing a number, my number is withheld?

- Can I choose for my number to be withheld automatically for all telephone calls I make? If so how? I can't see an option on my account.

- If I can withhold my number automatically, is there a number I can dial to un-withhold it (?!) where I choose to.

Yes if you dial 141 before the phone number you are calling, then your number will be withheld from caller display and 1471. There isn't an option in the Plusnet home phone panel to withhold your number by default , but if you call Plusnet or talk to them on live chat they can see about enabling it for you.

When you have 'withheld by default' enabled, prefixing with 1470 will allow CLI on individual calls.
