Where is the \ key on my phone keypad? - trying to set up Call Divert

Hello All,

I just activated PlusNet's call divert feature and have read the instructions on how to set this up. The instructions say:

Using Call Divert

There are three codes you can use, depending on what you want to do:

• 21 diverts all calls
• 61 diverts calls you don't answer in 15 seconds
• 67 diverts calls when you're on another call

If you want to... Here's how you do it

Set up Call Divert Press \*(Code)\*(Number to divert to)#

Check Call Divert Press \*#(Code)#

Turn off Call Divert Press #(Code)#

My question is:

Where is the "\" key on my telephone keypad? I do not see this key ! Is there an equivalent button?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

@chunkin - Do you really need it is it not being used as a separator i.e.

Step 1 #CODE

Step 2 *NUMBER TO DIVERT#

or

Step 2 #CODE#

Can you try this please.

Also, if you can post the model of the phone you use it'll help.
I'm mainly an iPhone person so can help if you're using that, but wouldn't be able to otherwise.

Have a look look at this thread as it appears the use of "\" is a typo.

Edit: Or as @Anonymous says it is used as a separator.
