I have hads to plug my router into the test socket and now my phones in other rooms do not work. what can I do? any ideas?

Thank you Oldjim. Yes, that does work, and in fact it is working, but my phones are all wired into the house and I need more than one phone. the others are not working.Any other ideas?

Unless you go and buy a DEC phone set then you are stuck with only one phone while using the test socket unfortunately

If you have another filter, plug that into the first one. Then plug the faceplate into the second filter.
Double filtering shouldn't cause any problems. If triple filtering is an issue, remove the filters from the extension sockets.
