Update after enginner visit

ticket number #81595306
Hi i had an engineer come to sort out a issue I had in the property we are moving to, the  engineer did arrive and sort it out but i have not heard anything back since,  the most important part is whether i would need to pay for the work done the engineer seemed to think not but i would like this confirmed
also this was added to my ticket even though the engineer had been "We would like to inform you that your Help Assistant Question [ 81595306 ] has now been returned to the BOT - Phone Faults - Logged Appointments pool. A member of our Support Team will investigate your issue as soon as possible"

can some one from support check what is going on. thanks.

Re: Update after enginner visit

From your posts on the Be forums it sounds like it had an old-style master socket which was upgraded to an NTE5A, something that BTOR do for free.  Wink

Re: Update after enginner visit

I'm hoping that's what is put in the engineer report so then as you say I wouldn't have to pay.

Re: Update after enginner visit

received an update Engineer put NTE replaced and the line has been tested and is clear, so Plusnet consider the fault closed,  but still no indication as to whether i will have to pay, there was no mention of it in the updaqte i got so i'm guessing not but confirmation from support would be nice.

Re: Update after enginner visit

If it's any comfort, I had a NTE5A fitted some months ago when BTOR came to resolve a line fault. I have not had to pay a penny for that.  Smiley

If the engineer was going to raise charges, he should have told you on the visit - if he didn't mention it, it's very likely that the repair was not chargeable.
