Unable to receive incoming calls on landline

I switched from Virgin to Plusnet yesterday but seem unable to receive incoming calls on my landline. I can make outgoing calls ok.

I've checked 17070 & it is the correct number

I have tried everything suggested in the help section but still no joy. Reading  other people’s posts it seems it may be a port issue. 
Any help greatly appreciated

Hi. I've got exactly the same problem today, I can make calls but can't receive them, i wasn't aware of the problem till my dad phoned me on my mobile, I tried to phone my house phone from my mobile to check and I get this number isn't receiving calls at the minute try again later, then goes on to say that this number doesn't exist!! I'm going to phone plusnet tomorrow to see if i can find out what is happening

Thanks for getting in touch and apologies for the issue.

I can see we have spoken to you recently about this. It doesn't appear the previous provider has completed their process so it may be worth checking with them. Please can you refer to the ticket and come back to us here once you have a confirmation from them so we can look at this again.
