Total outage. No phone or internet

No phone or internet since 10am this morning. Phone contact impossible, system just hangs up. Service status says no problems. Username [Removed], location Sandy, Beds, cabinet 3.

Should also say, test socket in use and no difference.

Just seen a friendly BT engineer who has run a line test for me. He says the line has been disconnected in the cabinet. Would love to know why this has happened and when they will re- connect me.

Thanks for the update. Annoying to say the least that BT can disconnect me today, but I have to wait a week for re- connection. Hopefully one of the exchange engineers will pick it up as it is literally only half a mile away. What will be annoying is if they have given my good line away and I get a bad one back.

BT have been to the cabinet today and found a broken wire. Wire has been replaced, phone and interweb back and peace is now reigning in the house again 😊
