Top 20 International Destinations

How does PlusNet determine which International Destinations are in "Top 20" list and how often is that list reviewed?

Hi John,
I've asked this question internally via one of our forums.  I'll let you know when I hear anything back.

Re: Top 20 International Destinations

Thanks John & for the PM.
I've had a chat with our Products Team and the top 20 destinations were initially based on call data we got from BT.  However, we plan to review this based on our own calling data at the next Home Phone Refresh.
That's still a fair way off yet though.

Re: Top 20 International Destinations

Did someone remember to review the "top" 20 international destination list at this product refresh?  Cool

Re: Top 20 International Destinations

Yep, we did review the figures and ultimately made no changes to the list apart from including American and Canadian mobiles.

I bet the UK is a top 20 international destination.

Re: Top 20 International Destinations

So is dialling 0044-114-296-5198 a free inclusive call? I bet it isn't Roll_eyes
American & Candian mobiles were already included because of the way they do their numbering over there you can't distinguish between a mobile and a landline. The mobile recipient has to pay a charge for receiving the call  Shocked
Edit: & before anyone else asks, Poland is in the top20.

Re: Top 20 International Destinations

Hi guys,
The UK isn't included in the Top 20 international destinations Smiley
Not sure if you've seen this page but we rolled it out on Wednesday to show which countries are included -

I was posting in cynical mode.
My favourite (as in most used) destination numbers are all UK ones.
To call them "top 20" when they are not in the top 20 would appear to be rather disingenuous.  Smiley
