Talk Evenings & Weekends

Can someone explain at what time does Talk Evenings begin, because sometimes i'm charged for the calls I make locally to my mum and on other occasions I'm not, I understood that the first 60mins for local calls were free, I always call after 1800hrs so why am I charged on some occasions and not others????Huh

Re: Talk Evenings & Weekends

Evenings means 1900 (7PM) to 0700 (7AM) Monday to Friday and Weekends is anytime Saturday and Sunday.
[quote=legal section of homepage]
Evening & weekend calls: Means calls to UK landlines beginning with 01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870 made Monday-Friday 19:00-07:00 and anytime Saturday or Sunday. Calls must be started and finished within these times to be inclusive (non-chargeable).
So call between 6PM and 7PM are chargeable.

Re: Talk Evenings & Weekends

BT changed the off-peak start time from 6pm to 7pm a few years ago, I'm not sure exactly when Plusnet did.
