Switching from a BT Line to a Plusnet line?

A few questions:
- Does switching from a BT line to a Plusnet line cause any downtime?
- Does a plusnet Line have plusnet DLM management control or is that still down to BT?
If there is no downtime (seamless) and there is Plusnet controlled DLM on the line, I'd definately migrate.
OR
if there is any seamless alternative line rentals I can take out that , eliminate the DLM waiting period, I'd certaintly love to hear it, I know that I'll be doing some major cleanups around my router, and I don't want to have to go through the whole DLM process again (which has been 32 hours and still 135kbps profile. gah)

Not AFAIK and if it does it's a negligible amount.

The ADSL aspect of your account stays the same, so yes bt's DLM controls are still in place.

Thanks for the reply, disapointing about the DLM... is there any way you can e-mail BT to tell them to turn DLM off? it's stressing me out.
