Special services tariff

I have discovered that the tariff for the g8 special service numbers has gone up from 1p to 2p.  My understanding was that these are fixed rate tariffs set by ofcom and that landline providers should adhere to them.  Am I misunderstanding the situation, or are Plusnet defying ofcom regulations?

I'm not sure the regulations are in place for all providers on those services? Sorry that you're not happy with the increase though.
