Removing Call Feature - how long?

How long does it take to remove a call feature?
The FAQ state 1 day but can take up to 3 days, however, I have been waiting since 19th September for caller ID to be removed and my control panel says 'awaiting removal'.  I received my bill on Monday and I have been charged for another month for this feature which I do not require.  I know it's only 99p extra a month, but with the increase in line rental and being on an extremely tight budget - every penny counts lol.
I sent a ticket in on Monday (#75793717) and was notified the response time is 25 hours and xx amount of minutes.  It's now nearly 48 hours later and I have had no response.
Can someone please look into this for me?
