Re: Plusnet seems to ignore communiocations - am I doing it wong?

I doubt it.

I am also a new customer awaiting a router and change of landline.

Received email today warning they are changing my phone number, oh no you are not I told them, But sky won't release you number i'm told, bullexcrement I thought, so checked with sky who told me they have not received a request from Plus net. Meantime I said cancel my account then, nbut sir they said, " no one will get the number from sky if we can't".

More bullexcrement I thought, so I cancelled.

Spoke to someone else at plus net who passed me around a few departments [several of them the same] and after a bit of blustering and more Bullexcrement found they could suddenly set up the account with no problems at all from Sky.

So seems new customers get the run around even before they join.

Hype about good customer service here must also be more bullexcrement.

There was one thing that Plusnet did with amazing speed and efficiency.

My up front money wast taken from my bank account without a hitch and in just a few seconds.

@Strat

Are those 3 virtually identical topics still available to read?

They were not from me. This is my first post here.

If others are having the same problem isn't it a bit misleading to remove those posts as it gives a false impression of the scale.

Re: Plusnet seems to ignore communiocations - am I doing it wong?

Welcome to the community forums @NSCOFFIELD.

While I agree an advisor should have certainly not told you Sky weren't allowing us to transfer your number (I've passed feedback on regarding this).

I've had a look over your account, and it seems the reason this was problematic initially, was because the telephone number provided in the section that we'd use to retain the number, was incorrect. As automation found we were unable to transfer the number (As it doesn't actually seem to be an active number) a new number was assigned.

I'm glad to see the order has been replaced manually, using the number that was provided as a contact telephone number, and this seems to be progressing fine.

Just like you can't read either the forum rules ("Cross-Posting of the same issue across more than one thread should not occur.") or the FAQs on the site where you've attempted to set up your avatar for these forums:

NO HOTLINKING - what does that mean?

If you want to show Pixabay images on your website, please upload them to your server. Pixabay image URLs don't work on external sites.
In any case these forums are not moderated by Plusnet staff but Plusnet users who do it voluntarily (which you would also know if you had bothered to read the forums rules).

I've checked your orders and they appear to be progressing fine and are still committed for the date we confirmed on the ticket on the 21st that you have responded to.

I hope this clears up any concern.

Re: Plusnet seems to ignore communiocations - am I doing it wong?

We've not charged for line rental, although I appreciate the payment for the broadband which is not yet active is incorrect.

As per my response to your post over in this thread: https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Account-Billing/Poor-customer-service/m-p/1417937#M24939

@NSCOFFIELD - Apologies your previous question was missed on the ticket, I've added a further response on to that for you refunding the erroneous payment.

You can view my response confirming I've issued a refund for this invoice via the ticket here: https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=144367234

I hope this helps.

Re: Plusnet seems to ignore communiocations - am I doing it wong?

@NSCOFFIELD

Please may I ask you, or the moderator, to start a new thread for your personal concerns. My original post was regarding a separate issue and I have been told by PlusNet that they will respond via this thread. By all means post comments in response about my original post but hijacking to deal with your own problem is not very fair, especially given the tone being used by both sides in the exchange. It also makes it difficult for me and others to follow the original topic of this thread.
