When I call my number it says service unavailable.. Check number and try again....I can make calls out on the line and line checks have been done all good so why can nobody get through to me?

Could be a crossed line at exchange.I had the same problem a couple of years ago.I actually (briefly) had another number!! If you dial 17070 it should tell you the number -if its not yours then crossed line !

Have you tried running a line test here? If the troubleshooter finds a fault it'll automatically raise it to Openreach.
