Question on Home Phone Order (Activation)

Hi,
I moved into a flat a few weeks ago and I placed an order a few weeks ago for Home Phone and Broadband from Plusnet (who are providing me with a new telephone number).
Everything has gone fine, however I've received two text messages the past week telling me that my service will be activated first on the 10th, then on the 11th, then the 10th again and now when I check my account status it says the 12th of October.
Could a staff member possibly let me know the expected date and why I may have received such different responses?

From what I can see it looks like the phone will go live on the 11th and the broadband on the12th.
