I currently have a broadband account with you which I pay £8.74 per month. This includes a referral discount
Now for line rental that is in my wife's name with BT at £20.99 per month. This makes the combined price £29.73.
Firstly could you offer me standard broadband and line rental cheaper than the current £29.73 we are paying.
Secondly could our current line rental which is in the wife name be transferred to you and be changed and added to my account instead under my name. The reason being I would not wish to loose my referral discount plus I have a DD setup with my bank for my current account. Also my wife does not a bank a bank account to be able to pay with DD.

If you don't need a calls package you could look at moving the line rental to one of the providers who doesn't cross subsidise the broadband with excessive line rental charges and whose call charges are way cheaper. See link in my signature for one such - there are others.
