Yes, redial, otherwise normal will charges will apply once the hour is up!

Re: Putting down phone before hour is up

A further thought...
It says [url=http://www.plus.net/home-broadband/tariffs/][here]

Inclusive call length: Inclusive calls become chargeable after 60 minutes for UK numbers, 30 minutes for international numbers. Re-dial to avoid call charges.

Further down the page

Plusnet to Plusnet calls Free

so I assume that the hour limit doesn't apply on calls to other PN Home Phone customers.
Edit:  I assumed wrongly. See Reply #8

Re: Putting down phone before hour is up

A phone with a built in timer is useful.
If you start to end the call at say 50 minutes, ( to find a natural pause) it seems better than saying, 60 minutes, time to redial to save being charged.
Perhaps a going to the loo excuse ?
At least, that was what I used to do.
(Time to get a drink)
And it's less obvious you are doing the 60 minute cut-off / redial procedure.

Re: Putting down phone before hour is up

Doesn't bother me. I simply say that I need to ring back at around the 55 minute mark. Often I ask if the other person wants to ring me back.
In the days before inclusive minutes a friend (female, I may add) had a trick of giving a a little teaser to some gossip then hanging up. More often than not the other person would ring back and she'd just apologise for getting cut off - "don't know how that happened!" Cheesy

Re: Putting down phone before hour is up

Guys and Gals, the 60 minute time Limit does apply to all inclusive calls & that includes the Plusnet to Plusnet calls. See http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,108818.msg930555.html#msg930555 I assume the bug Ben had mentioned has now been fixed and the 60 minutes has been applied.
Residential and Biz are included in that, although Biz off-peak times are different to Residential.
