Plusnet to Plusnet calls

Are Plusnet to Plusnet calls free at all times, or does it depend which phone package you have?

But they still have a maximum duration though is that correct? After 60mins they then start to cost money?

There is no maximum duration on Plusnet to Plusnet calls included calls. This month the maximum duration of a free PN-PN call was 119 minutes.
Edit: It appears that the maximum duration charging isn't working correctly, as it's supposed to be 60 minutes maximum, but there are calls where I'm seeing more than 60 minutes free. I need to look into this further and raise a problem.

Just small clarification please.  By Pn to Pn calls mean Pn subscriber to Pn subscriber calls to be free?

Thanks to everyone for the questions and answers on this thread, I had no idea that Plusnet to Plusnet calls were entirely free at all times (maybe I should read the 'small print' in future) but have family who are also Plusnet customers so it's very useful to have found this out (and possibly a good incentive to try to refer more friends and family).

So how do you know if the person you are about to call is a PlusNet subscriber or not?  I guess you could ask them, but you have already made the call by then and maybe you want to call during the day when you only have free evening calls. 
I would suggest a 'number checker' page where you can type in the phone number and it either comes back with "Plusnet subscriber" or not, no other personal info needed.  Hope that isn't too tricky to organise?

Hi Rupert, unfortunately this would breach DPA as you would be able to use an automated system to run through every possible number combination and come up with a list of  active customer numbers.

Perhaps you could spread the word and refer customers which would mean both free calls and a referral bonus for yourself?

I had better not tell my wife that the calls are not time limited as her and her monther will easily smash that 119 minutes.  They can spend 3-4 hours on the phone (just hanging up every 55 minutes) most days.  They use a combination of landline and Orange Magic numbers currently.
This will throw your figures somewhat

Just on the off-chance, is Madasafish home phone counted as Plusnet (and vice versa)?

Hi KevinG, I believe that MAAF - PN counts as free in practice, but not design. I need to investigate this and raise an internal problem, if appropriate. As such, if they are free at the moment they may not be free in the future
Edit: I've done some digging and they don't appear to be free. Every day we make a list of  Force9, Plusnet, Vodafone, etc. and they're free to each other, then MAAF and various legacy MAAF vISPS all together, etc. but not PN - MAAF except where it counts as part of your allowance anyway - calls to UK numbers during the evenings are free on almost every package - this is unaffected as are daytime calls on the various Anytime packages, etc.
