Plusnet case:76448037 - home phone down since 28/10. Fed up with Plusnet.

I am so fed up with Plusnet.
I have no home phone since 28/10 and plus net have no ability to prioritise or influence anything with BT or Openreach.
I wish I had never moved across to Plusnet, what a totally and utterly useless service.
They don't even care and refuse to forward all my home calls at their cost to my mobile like BT at least do when there is a fault. Neither will they forward it at their cost to another landline.
All Plusnet can claim which is false is that there is a major problem in my area when the CEO of BT has confirmed himself that no such problem exists.
I am so fed up and cannot wait to get away from Plusnet.

This is not going to help - sorry - but does putting your phone number in here give a hint as to the problem http://status.zen.co.uk/broadband/

You misread Oldjim's comment...
The link he gave you allows you to enter your phone number to see if there's a general problem in your area.  BT also have useful page www.bt.com/help/servicestatus

That's a useful link if BT is your provider but I don't think it works when Plusnet is provider - all I get is " please enter valid phone number" when I enter my number.

The information further down the page is useful even if you can't use it for your own phone number. For example currently it is saying:

You are quite correct, Plus Net nor any other communication provider (including BT Retail) has "ability to prioritise or influence anything with BT or Openreach" .  BTOR is a monopoly sole supplier who (is supposed to) treat all communication suppliers the same.  If there is evidence that individual suppliers are being treated more favourably than others, then this is a matter for investigation by Ofcom.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
