Plusnet Call Protect Not blocking international calls

I have international calls blocking option turned on but am still getting calls.

can you check why it’s not working. 
I have call screening and before the message to leave a message has finished the call drops.

Presumable these are scam calls?

If they're VOIP with a spoofed number but originating in the UK they won't have the 'International' flag on the caller ID.

I am presuming they are scam, as they never leave messages.

searching 001 312 on Google this area code is know for scam Amazon calls.
