Plusnet Call Protect (Awaiting activation)

I have been waiting two months for Call Protect to be activated.  I contacted someone from Orders who said it would be done after my next bill was issued and this has still not happened.  My Account page originally said it would be activated by the next working day. 

Can anyone help please?

You can check and activate it from your member account on the home phone control panel under call features.

Nope, in my member account on the home phone control panel under call features it is still stuck at "Awaiting activation". Hence my post title: Awaiting activation.........

Plusnet staff need to remove and add it. Shouldn't take no more than 24hours

No I mean it needs reapplying or pushing; it look like it's stuck in the system for some reason.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with getting Plusnet Call Protect activated.

 

Whilst I can't fix the stuck call feature on your account which shows awaiting activation, I've raised a task with the appropriate team internally to resolve this.

 

Meanwhile, I've manually placed an order with Openreach to activate the feature on your phone line.

It should start working within a few hours. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

I've checked this now and I can see the order I've placed was rejected by our suppliers. Digging into this deeper, it looks like the exchange your service is connected to isn't compatible with the call feature I'm afraid.

No worries, thanks for investigating, our exchange is being upgraded at the moment, so I'll try again in later in the year.

No problems. I can’t remember where you live, but I’ve seen this a couple of times before. Seems to be an issue with certain exchanges in remote areas of Wales and Scotland.
