We have repeated land line failures resulting in noisy phone line and internet drop out.
The problem is the line is old and not installed in ducting, therefore corrodes.
An open reach engineer turns up does a bit of manhole diving finds a competent pair and the problem for a few months.
Due to poor response from PlusNet I have tried and failed to get direct contact with OpenReach. Has anybody got a suggestions on how to light a fire under these organisations

You'll just have to keep on top of PN Customer Service as only they can deal with Openreach who manage the infrastructure.
CHAT is currently available- try that.
