I signed up to Plusnet on 17 September, something went wrong and they cancelled the order. I phoned yesterday and started again, then had an email saying I would have a new landline number. No one said this when I signed up. I have had the phone number for 47 years, first with BT now with Talktalk.
I have spent ages yesterday on the phone to be told I have to request to keep the number from Talktalk.
