Phone rings but can't make or answer calls

Hi my phone has not been working for ages
it rings and I answer but can't hear anything
I have tryed all the things you have suggested on site even went looking for
socket thingy inside, I dont have one.
I saw someone else on here had same problem
can you get it fixed please

I can see you've used the troubleshooter and we've found a exchange fault.
We'll get that fixed as soon as we can.
