Phone number change

I would like to change my phone number as someone has got a hold of it who I do not want to have it. I was asked if I wanted a new number when I joined plusnet but just kept my Bt number. Is it possible to now request a new number from plusnet without being charged?

Andrea - I had a similar problem just a short while ago and contacted Mand about it (PM). I was told that there are steps that they can take to help you but it might be worth reading the following link from the Member Centre:

In my case the calls stopped so no further action was needed.

Hi there,
We can do a renumber for you however this would cost £38.75 (the cost to us of the BT Openreach order).
There are other things you can do in terms of nuisance calls as poppy pointed out, if you'd like to go through the options please raise a ticket or send me a PM with the details and I'll see what we can do.
