Thanks bigblueamazon    I'd managed to suss it, weirdly my home BB worked long enough for me to be able to do it and that's not a slight on PN as I am fairly sure the phone issue is an OR one.

Boom tish! I'll let you off Adam.
Afraid I spoke too soon though, went out to lunch, came home tried to go on the internet anddd ...... No internet but at least I had a landline so as I could ring up free, heres hoping for as quick a fix on this issue.
If I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all.

Well, to conclude ........ hopefully  my internet has been ujpo and running for a few hours now, I've been off line and back  on with various devices and various times and it still seems OK, I realise this is the phone forum but as the issues co-incided that's where I've been posting.
Hopefully all is well and once again thanks to all
