Phone displays please check line cord

i have tryed the phone in next doors line and it works

i went through the trouble shooter

it went to check line and after waiting a couple o mins

got error message telling me to phone an 0800 number

phoned number was told theres a 30 min wait

so ive come here

i can ring the number on my mobile

It looks like the line test you completed online reported a fault through to Openreach. It's also raised a ticket on to your account which you can view here: https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=155581722

We'd expect an engineer to further investigate within 2 working days.

still cant use phone almost a week now

My question is on hold till the 17th
And my internet access has gone off

engineer just phoned house

said he fixed problem at line box

all seems to work internet and phone
