I just checked my bill and found mobile calls of £4.93 Wierd i thought we never call mobiles from landline ?
so i checked the numbers Its my mobile
every single call to my mobile is 00.01. 00 so 1 second and am charged 29p every one ? min charge 13 + 16 connection charge.
But the thing is when i am out wife rings mobile if she needs me , when i see Home phone calling i reject the call and ring back ,, Free from my mobile
So home phone never connects to make a call ? so am i getting charged for wife Dialing my number ?
How can there be a charge when it never connects ?

Yup Harry its a new phone , i have just checked Rejected call go auto to Voicemail
Not good as its cost me a connection fee from PN , should be a min connection say 30 sec before a charge is made
Rediculous £4.95 just for 1 second connections

I begrudge the 1p (1 Eurocent actually) my VoIP company charges for similar calls to mobiles, so you must be well p'd off.

Most mobile operators allow a few seconds leeway in case call drops out; in future get her to ring your mobile from hers; long as she hangs up when she hears ring tone, you should be free of charges.

Here lies the problem , she has no mobile ,,,,,, so its up to PN to give some leeway ONE second and they charge

Perhaps you shouldn't be the one cancelling the call and causing voicemail to cut in - get your wife to call and cancel after the first ring. That will not get charged (unless you are not connected and vm cuts in immediately) and you get a "missed call" notification.
