I noticed the Plusnet DD taken from my account this month was higher than normal. I have just checked my account and find that following renewal of my 12 months payment for line rental in advance, I have without my knowledge or permission been arbitrarily moved from my existing "Line Only" contract onto a "Plusnet Unlimited (Contracted) - Market 2/3" rate, charged at £9.99 per month.
Would you please immediately revert my account to its pre-existing "Plusnet Line Only" state and refund the £9.99 charged this month.
Thank you.
P.S. I take it this should be in "Accounts and Billing"

Hi there,
The 'Plusnet Unlimited (Contracted) - Market 2/3" rate' is your broadband charge. Your phone line rental is already paid as per the Line Rental Saver.
If the price has increased it's likely that any initial discounts you had with us have expired. You may find that our Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 or 0330 123 9197 can help out with the cost if a new contract is agreed.

OK, thanks. I thought it was for a phone package contract. You are of course correct, I forgot about the discount. 😞
Does this mean I am now out of contract wrt broadband?

No, there is still some time to run on the contract.

So I can't get a new contract until the current one runs out? In a year I imagine.
TIA

You can negotiate a new one when you're within the last 3 months of your current contract. The numbers I've posted above can give you the best advice on this.
