BT have announced this morning that they are to introduce a free service to allow customers to block nuisance calls
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-35545914
As PlusNet are owned by BT will they be doing this as well?

Think I'd still stick with my call blocker on my phone, I guess there's a risk of blocking a genuine caller?

@grahamf
Given BT's CEO has asked for all its competitors to join them, then Plusnet have no excuse not to implement it.
@dvorak
it puts the calls to a junk voicemail folder so I would assume you can check out the junk voicemail for any errors and correct them.

Given the massive amount of money made by these scammers they will find a way round it. I will stick with my CPR call blocker, it lets me choose who to block and to block any number that calls me.

Sounds a good idea! My phone can be set to block nuisance numbers so they don't get through next time they try but I ran out of space for them the other week and had to delete a few that I think were spoof numbers anyway.

Recently changed my elderly father from talktalk to plusnet and he has been inundated with nuisance calls since. Any suggestions?
