Not receiving incoming calls

Having problems with incoming calls following recent move over to PN. Sometimes the phone rings but often the caller is cut off or justmet with a hissing/cracking sound.

i have unplugged all phones/routers/etc but crackling still occurs - even when phone is plugged directly into master socket. Interestingly, the hissing doesnt happen when phone is plugged directly into test socket!? Would this suggest there is a prob with wiring in the master socket itself?

As the crackling and hissing goes when plugged in to the test socket, this does suggest the issue is with the internal wiring I'm afraid.

Yeah thought so. Just been through all sockets and filters etc, and I think I have sorted it. Thanks
