Noisy line & caller id not working

I moved house 3 weeks ago and took Plusnet services with me. The phone line is very noisy, to the point that I cannot make out what the other person is saying. Caller ID does not work, even though it did for a few days at the start. The line has been tested and found to be ok (it obviously isn’t!).

I am using a cordless phone and it worked perfectly at my old house. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting shooting steps but to no avail. I contacted customer services via messaging, who said they’d arrange an engineers visit, but I haven’t heard anything for 3 days. 

Please help.

Unfortunately I don’t own a corded phone. My cordless phone worked fine in my old house 3 weeks ago, so I don’t think that’s the problem. 

Engineer booked in so will see what he/she discovers.
