Noise on line now no dial tone.

The line had been noisy for several days so I reported the fault  on 07/03/2018. Broadband was intermitant. Received a computer generated reply. On the 10/03/2018 line was dead. A line test was done and external   fault found and was passed onto Openreach. The phone has now had a fault for over a week and nothing has been done. Direct debit taken out today for a service I'm not receiving. Contract is almost up.

The estimated response time for your phone fault is tomorrow 14/3/18.

Hi Sterling.

It looks like an engineer is assigned to the job.

Hopefully your phone line is fixed soon.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

engineer arrived when you said. Problem fixed, he had to go up telegraph pole.
