No line after switch

I was supposed to switch from now broadband to Plusnet on the 25th September,however after being told by email my switch would take place yesterday the 3rd October and receiving text and emails today the 4th October,
My line is not working and therefore have no phone or broadband,
Anybody have any ideas what’s happening?,never had any problems switching in the past,
Ps Plusnet have managed to lose my old phone number if that’s any help
