Is there a home phone that will work on my landline and show caller ID or do plusnet deliberately Block it and force you to pay before it shows?Huh

Caller Display is an optional extra that costs 99p per month and can be turned on/off from here (login is required).

 

Unless this is activated the Caller ID will not be displayed on any phone.

At only 99p a month one wonders why they bother to charge at all. Smacks of being a might miserly if you ask me but I guess the pennies make lot's of pounds in the end. Any idea how many subscribers they have?

We get charged for it at a wholesale level.

It's a shame but I may as well use a mobile phone now. Pointless paying for a call package nowadays.
