No Dial tone and Slow internet and Keeps dropping

I presume that this kind of problem should be addressed promptly, it happened before and I can see many members have experienced such a problem before, so I think such kind of problems have to be dealt with easily, now we are much more dependant on the internet on our work if that goes wrong then this would be reflected on the work we provide. if you are not going to deal with such kind of problems fast enough we are as well going to impact other people business.
and before you say it yes I have followed all the troubleshooting guides. still the problem not fixed, and I know you are doing your Job, but come one we are looking for ( we ll do you proud ) yet not met.

I have also lost my phone line although the internet seems fine. Using the exchange test through the phone troubleshooting menu comes up with an error message and the helpline appears to have a 35 minute queue. I suspect that our local exchange is flooded and we'll just have to wait for things to dry out.

Have you opened a fault with Plusnet for this issue?
If not then you need to.
Posts to this web site aren't the start of the fault fixing process.

Have Plusnet replied to the fault ticket at all?
You can find the open ticket in the Member Centre under "Manage Account" and then "Help Assistant"

I have had no reply to my fault ticket - but then it has been the weekend. Our local telephone exchange was built next to the Beck River. Every now and then it becomes part of it. I suspect I'll get no landline until things dry out.

Your ticket reply means that the important wire in the connection between you and the telephone network has been connected to earth. That probably means the rain has got in - or like mine, the telephone exchange is flooded.

Hopefully Openreach will find the fault externally. From that, it is only an assumption that it is an external fault to your premises and that Openreach are looking into it.
Would have been nice for staff to actually tell you in plain English what the issue is and what is happening.
