New Line Rental Charges

Does the imminent line rental charge apply to those of us who have paid 12 months in advance? Or, will it only apply from any renewal?
PN Evening & Weekends (£13.99) + Caller ID (£0.99) costs £14.98. BT only charge £14.60 for this service. So, how can PN claim to be cheaper than BT?!  Sad

Re: New Line Rental Charges

Hi,
As you have already paid for your line rental, this charge will not be increased until the point at which you need to renew.
If you are within your last 3 months of the contract, you are able to renew for a further 12 months at the current price.

Re: New Line Rental Charges

Hi Mr T
Does the £14-60 plan from BT include evening calls? I thought the BT Evening + WE calls was £3-15p + £14-60p (monthly line rental until Jan)  i.e £17-75p. I think the £14-60p plan only includes weekend and not evening calls.
Reason for edit meant until not from Jan.

Re: New Line Rental Charges

As taken directly from the BT website, the Line Rental currently is £14.60, with this alone you would get inclusive 0845 & 0870 calls. You would need to pay a further £3.15 for both Evenings and Weekend calls (close to what Salmo has said). This does put our new prices still cheaper than BT.
Furthermore as of 05/01/2013 the prices will change further from BT as follows:
Line Rental: £15.45p/m
Evenings & Weekends Call Plan £3.30p/m
Total: £18.75
This puts us cheaper than BT Smiley
