Having been away from home for a week or so, I was interested to note on my return that the recorded voice giving the 1571 voicemail options now also advises if there are any new 1572 voicemails as well (unless I completely misheard/misunderstood).
I don't think you've misunderstood this. I've double checked this with a colleague and have been advised that the 1571 voicemail will also advise you of new 1572 messages.
