@Georg

Not disputing that you joined Plusnet with a PSTN phone service in February but many of us are interested to know how you managed it. Please let us know how you get on.

Re: My phone line is permanently engaged

Given that it appears to be an ADSL connection and AFAIK Plusnet aren't offering SoADSL,I wonder if they got a dispensation from OR to provide ADSL with phone ?

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: My phone line is permanently engaged

Surprise surprise my line is ok now as I have outgoing and incoming calls. This has been ok since this morning, I still have an engineers visit for monday, any ideas of what should I do.. Plusnet test control found no fault on line and broadband was still working when I had reported my phone faulty. Line had been proved engaged tone even with no phone plugged in.

Re: My phone line is permanently engaged

@Georg I personally would keep it in as it then means that they can test everything. You won't be charged for him coming out and not finding a fault but I would say if it was showing without the phone as engaged keep the appointment
