Hi,
I'm in the middle of migrating over to Plusnet for my Broadband and thinking about moving my phone line and calls over to you as well.
In the world of broadband things change on a weekly basis and the reason i choice plusnet is the monthly contract and I don't want to be tied down. Now I understand Plusnet homephone is only for people who take out their broadband service, so if I ever did move to another ISP I would also have to move my phone service as well.
What I would like to know is, if I ever did move from plusnet would I need to move my phone service before requesting a MAC.... what would happen if I moved ISP and didn't move to a new phone service, would my phone go DEAD?
I'm torn between Plusnet Homephone and Post Office Homephone.... I'm really tempted at PO Homephone, due to no messing about if I ever changed ISP.... but I really want my phone and broadband from one provider.
Come on convince me that if I take my phone service with you plusnet that there's not a lot of messing about if I ever moved to another ISP.

Hi there,
If you were to leave us at any stage, we wouldn't cease your phone service. It would just continue to run as per usual. You could continue this way for as long as you liked and of course you would be perfectly entitled to move your phone service elsewhere aswell.

That's fantastic, so you would just continue to bill me the £9.99 + calls, until I move to another phone service.
That's convinced me....
One last question, do I have to wait until I've migrated to you or can I do it straight away.

Yep, you'd just continued to be billed as usual.
We would need to wait for your broadband migration to complete first before you can move your line over to us from a calls perspective.
