Mobiles struggle to connect.

Can't seem to get anything done with a fault on my landline. I am with Plusnet for my landline phone and broadband. The fault is, out of ringing my landline say six times from several different mobiles I may be lucky and get a dialling tone twice, otherwise the call is just dropped, ie: no sound at all, yet all the time I can pick my landline phone up and call anyone at anytime. I've already had Plusnet send an engineer out -which didn't cost me anything- and he found several faults which he fixed but I still have the same problem with mobiles. I have done all the usual checks with the main Openreach incoming telephone socket including using someone else's landline phone but to no avail. Any ideas would be gratefully received. I've been in touch with Openreach twice about this problem but they just don't reply even though they gave me a complaint log number.

Openreach won't be able to assist you directly as we need to talk to them for you. 

 

We'll need to persist with a further visit to get this one sorted for you but I'm sure we can get this one fixed.
