I'm new to Plusnet home phone and wanted to query the cost of mobile calls. I'm on Talk Anytime and have 2 calls to mobiles on my recent calls and I have been charged 18 pence for a 1 minute call during the day and 14 pence for a 1 minute call in the evening. When I check the cost of calls on plusnet website it says Talk Anytime mobile rates are 9.3 pence during the day and 5.6 pence in the evening. So just wondering why I have been charged more?
You need to add the 8p call set up fee to the cost of the call so: 9.3p rounded up to the nearest whole penny = 10p + 8p = 18p 5.6p rounded up to the nearest whole penny = 6p + 8p = 14p
I though it could be something like that but the 8pence charge is not mentioned at the Talk Anytime cahrges its only when you go further down to the calls that are not included in call packages that the 8 pence charge is mentioned.

It is here though, from item 7 onwards. I think the pdf price list needs to be made clearer - I couldn't see a reference to the 8p setup charge on there either for discounted mobile calls.
Yes, I agree it does need to be made clearer as I didn't see it until I looked further down. I hope Plusnet might look into this and amend so it is made clearer for new customers like myself.
