Re: Line rental saver

My understanding is that It will start from the date phone service is first provided, pro-rated to run up to your normal billing date, The system should automatically apply a refund for the part of the first billing month before the phone service is provided so that phone and broadband billing dates are then aligned..

Re: Line rental saver

Hi is LSR still available? As a friend is trying to sign up and they don't have the choice just the £14.95 a month...

That's the charge to renew LRS if you'd signed up for it prior to October.  The new fee is £131.88 but doesn't include any calls.

Re: Line rental saver

Hi englishrick, it's likely that they're on an older product - I believe it's only available now if you move to one of our current products.

Re: Line rental saver

Can you confirm that. I've just looked and there's no option for LSR as an existing customer, or if I come in as a new customer.
Also, following any links to info about LSR (the main page, FAQ , or searching) results in a redirect to the plusnet homepage - it's as if LSR has been scrubbed from existence.

Re: Line rental saver

They are a new customer trying to sign up for the £2.75 offer but they wanted to pay up front for the phone line. They have a BT socket but not got a phoneline

Re: Line rental saver

Thanks, second link just redirects to homepage, as does
http://www.plus.net/home-broadband/line-rental-saver/
http://www.plus.net/home-broadband/line-rental-saver-faq/
http://www.plus.net/addons/line-rental-saver/

all redirect as if they're hiding those pages away. (no others do)

I suggest giving the Sales team a ring. I think the discounted offer may be online only I believe the sales staff will guide the customer through the sign up journey. Confirm that, of course. Along the way it *should* give the option to choose LRS, though that might be after the initial home phone product choice. Speaking to the sales team would enable that to be confirmed.
To avoid ordering delays paying the initial fees by card is necessary (rather than waiting for a DD to be set up - potentially taking 10 working days). Though these include the first month's charges these run from the dates the services actually commence.

Re: Line rental saver

That's due to the 'unique' way the forum software displays and opens links.  If you open the link in a new window/tab it should be OK
