Line rental only

Hi, silly simple question I'm having a surprisingly difficult time finding the answer to. When I go to the Home Phone Control Panel in my account it states I have product: "line only". Does this mean I can receive calls? Is there a charge for receiving calls?

1. Yes you can receive calls
2. There isn't a charge for receiving calls, the money is made when you call someone else.

You can test answer 1 by using your mobile and calling your land line number. If you've a phone attached it will ring. Mobile calls tend to be cheaper than landline calls these days, so more and more people call out on their mobiles and let companies call them on the landline.
