Line Rental Saver for new Home Phone order

I recently ordered Home Phone and Unlimited Fibre from Plusnet. Installation is due on 30 December.
I was not given the option of adding Line Rental Saver during the order process, just paying for the first month's line rental as part of the up front order costs.
How do I add Line Rental Saver?
Can I add this now or do I have to wait until my phone service goes live with Plusnet?

Hi, you'll need to add this after the service has gone live I'm afraid, we can't do it until then. Once it has though you should be able to add it via our website or if not give us a call and we'll get it added for you.

If I do it just after the service goes live, will it start from the following month (e.g. from 30 January 2014), as I have already paid the rental for the first month?
