I'm posting on behalf of my elderly uncle, who is also a PlusNet phone & broadband customer, but who doesn't use his broadband any more. I was wondering if PlusNet offered a landline service only, without the broadband? He still needs the the phone but the broadband is effectively costing him £10.99/month for no benefit so he wants to cancel it, if possible. I couldn't see a reference to any such service on the website, but I thought it worth consulting the collective knowledge of the forum to make sure.
Fixed! Go to the fix.
Re: Landline service offering without broadband
No problem and I'm sorry that we can't provide them with a phone only package.
Having said that it may be worth asking them to discuss this with our customer options team on 0800 013 2632 as it might be possible for us to discount the cost of the broadband service down.
Hope this helps.
