Landline issue

I recently upgraded to fibre broadband but no change of date was confirmed. Every time I connect the new router the phone line drops out and it fails to connect. Today the phone line has dropped out completely and after trying to troubleshoot nothing is happening. I dont know if this is linked to the broadband change or is simply an issue on the line but I would appreciate a response as soon as possible. Thank you.
