Hi,

I'm afraid I don't know anyone around here who is a Plusnet customer.

I do know the phones used to work when I was with TalkTalk.

Maybe the upgrade to fibre has some bearing on it.

Hi @nightsurfer

 

The line that you test the Panasonic on shouldn't need to be a Plusnet line. Any line with Caller Display, though I'd recommend to test on a line supplied by a BT networked provider and probably best to check with a line on the same exchange (a neighbour maybe). If it still didn't work it could indicate some incompatibility with the exchange equipment. 

 

Resetting the handset might also be something to try.

Tonight my phone started displaying caller ID.

As far as I am aware no one has been specifically working on the line, so perhaps a software update or new piece of exchange equipment has been installed.

I will update again if the display goes away again.
